Find accredited journals

In South Africa, only articles published in "accredited journals" are considered for subsidy. To this effect journals included in the lists/indices below are considered "accredited" and will be taken into account for government subsidy and in terms of NRF evaluation

Lists of accredited journals:
Science Citation Index
Social Sciences Citation Index
Arts and Humanities Citation Index
International Bibliography of the Social Sciences (IBSS) (view serials title list)
List of approved South African journals as maintained by the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET).

Find the combined DHET list:
ISI Journal Citation Reports, IBSS and Approved South African Journals

Find Open Access Accredited Journals: (An additional field in the lists below show whether a particular journal is Open Access)
