With a Web of Science account, you can save and retrieve searches, set up and manage search history alerts, set up citation alerts, create and maintain custom journal lists that you frequently read and add references to your library citation management system. Read more


Create a Web of Science account

  • Click Databases A-Z list

  • Scroll to & click Web of Science

  • Click Sign In

  • Click Register

  • Complete the form


Set up e-mail alerts in Web of Science

  • Once logged into Web of Science, type your search query
  • Click Search
  • On results list, click Create Alert / RSS

  • Complete the form
  • Click Save

  • Click My Saved Searches to manage alert settings
