Course Reading Lists: Step 1. Setting up your reading list in SUNLearn

This guide is designed to help you understand and navigate your course reading lists.

Activate the reading list tool

This activation is done once-off per year per course.

1. Log into SUNLearn and navigate to your course. Turn editing on.

2. At the Topic where you want to embed the reading list, Add an activity or resource.

3. Select Reading List from the All tab.

4. Enter an Activity name e.g. Reading list and Save and return to course.

Please contact the Library if you should be able to build a reading list but cannot do so.

Create your reading list

The adding of course information is done once-off per year per course.

1. Complete the Course Name, the From and To dates of the course, the Number of Participants and Academic department and CREATE.

If you don’t find your department/division on the list, please contact the Library to add it.

2. Select the  ! CREATE IT button.

3. Enter a meaningful reading list Title and Description (optional) and CREATE.

4. Select a template.

Let the Library know if you require a template that is not catered for.
