Open access publishing: Wiley

Agreement with the publisher

The Wiley/SANLiC agreement for 2022-2025 is a Read & Publish OA agreement that will be phased in over this period. Read the SANLIC press release here.

Corresponding authors affiliated with Stellenbosch University may publish open access in any Wiley hybrid journal (subscription-based journals that offer an open access option) and in any Wiley and Hindawi fully open access journal, at no cost to the author. There is a cap on the number of articles that can be published without paying APCs, for all participating SANLiC members on a first come, first served basis.

Wiley journal finder

Wiley's Journal Finder enables users to search Wiley’s journals by keyword and filter results by topic, subject area, and/or open access status, so they can easily identify journals relevant to their research and make an informed submission decision. Additionally, users can directly compare up to four journals at a time and access vital statistics around acceptance rate, impact factor, etc. to gain further understanding.
