Makerspace: Computer-Aided Design

Provide a collaborative technologically focused environment for SU students and staff to invent, create and learn while sharing.

CAD Computer

The Makerspace have eight CAD computers that have specialized open source software for example Autodesk Fusion 360 for 3D modelling, prototyping and software development.

Book a construction or design workbench to get access to one of the CAD computers in the SU Library Makerspace with Autodesk Fusion 360 and other open source software. You may also book other available equipment as indicated on the booking form.

System information:

Processor:  Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8700 CPU @ 3.20GHz

Monitor: Dell 27"

Installed memory (RAM): 16.0 GB

Windows edition: Windows 10 Enterprise

Getting started with Autodesk Fusion 360

For more assistance with Autodesk Fusion 360, book a Autodesk Fusion 360 training session on the SmartResearcher training calendar.

Schedule one-on-one sessions for more information or equipment, tools or design support. Select the Online Appointment tab to get started.
