What is a Soldering Station?

Soldering is used to glue together electronics on a printed circuit board. The iron is heated up to the temperature where it can melt the solder.

The Heat Gun is used for the surface mount components.

  • Only solder in a well-ventilated with a fume extractor.
  • Always wear eye protection when using a soldering station.
  • Treat the soldering station with care as the solder wire can become extremely hot.
