Library Research Week

Stellenbosch University Library and Information Service is pleased to announce our annual Research Week for 2020, presented in an online format for the first time. The theme this year is “Going for research gold in 2020”. On 24 August, a special guest lecture by Dr Ballindiwe Sishi titled The journey through my eyes will launch Research Week. Webinars based on the subthemes of Get Ready, Get Set, Stay on Track and Cross the finish line will be presented for the rest of the week.
For the Get Ready and Get Set themes, webinars will focus on useful research tips relating to systematic reviews, literature reviews, using Mendeley and using specific databases (presented by SCOPUS and Sage)
Stay on Track and Cross the Finish Line focus on webinars relating to time management, writing tips and managing stress presented by the Language Centre and Writing Laboratory, the Postgraduate Office, the Library’s Research Data Services and the Centre for Student Counselling and Development.
