Makerspace: Bookings for Workstations and Equipment

Provide a collaborative technologically focused environment for SU students and staff to invent, create and learn while sharing.

Design Workstation

There are four design workstations that provide an area for 3D modelling and circuit design. The design workstation is equipped with a computer that has computer aided design (CAD) software installed such as Autodesk software.The design workstation can be booked for up to four hours.

Construction Workstation

There are four construction workstations that can be used for working with the oscilloscope and soldering, etc. This space will also provide adequate room for hands-on work such as drafting, circuit inspection and/or assembly. The construction workstation will be equipped with a computer that has computer aided design (CAD) software installed such as Autodesk software. The design workstation can be booked for up to four hours.

The  Makerspace training calendar will assist you to book a training session to learn how to use Makerspace equipment and tools optimally and according to Makerspace safety rules.

Usage policies and rules
