Turnitin is a tool to check the originality of your written work; where necessary it will provide guidelines on where and how you can improve the originality of your work

From 2024, the library will offer support and training in how to migrate from Mendeley or Zotero to EndNote, if you wish to do so.  In the meantime, have a look at this video to see some of the new features of EndNote 21, and the EndNote Library Guide for more information

Why is referencing important?

• links what you have read and what you have written
• shows that you have read widely around your subject area or topic and speak with authority
• demonstrates that you building on the work of others
• acknowledges the sources you have used

• protects you from any charges of copying or plagiarism
