Plagiarism @ Stellenbosch University

"Plagiarism is the theft and use of the ideas, material and other intellectual property of others that are passed off as one’s own." SU Senate. 1 Dec 2016. Bibliography vs reference list

A reference list, generally, contains only sources you have cited in-text in your assignment.

A bibliography, generally, is a list of all the sources you used to generate your ideas about the topic.

  • This means, as well as the sources you cited in-text in the body of your assignment, you also include any other resources that you referred to or read about on the topic.
