IF YOU CANNOT GET ACCESS TO THE LIBRARY'S E-RESOURCES FROM OFF-CAMPUS

How do I Sign-On to the library's e-resoures?

Due to licensing agreements with publishers, off-campus access to some of the library’s academic licensed e-resources are restricted to currently registered students and staff members of Stellenbosch University.

You may visit the
library homepage
and type your search terms in the search box or choose E-databases or E-journals from the FIND menu.

When off-campus and prompted to Sign-On (see screenshot below), sign in with your SU username (also called "network" login) and password.

SIGN-ON PROBLEMS?

  • If you could not Sign-on successfully with your SU username and existing password to access the library's e-resources, your password might have an synchronizing problem or could have expired. Please change your password via https://www.sun.ac.za/password See Change your password online.
    Once that is done, you should have off-campus access to the library's e-resources using your new password.
