Off-campus Access for Stellenbosch Registered Users: Password problems

Report your off-campus e-access problem by submitting a question to Ask a Librarian.

SIGN-ON PROBLEM?

Please change your password via https://www.sun.ac.za/password. See Change your password online.
Once that is done, you should have off-campus access to the library's e-resources using your new password.

Still cannot sign-on successfully, continue with the next step:

Important:

• Always log out of SSO and close your browser when you are finished.
• Never enter your university password on a site that does not have sun.ac.za, mymaties.com, or maties.com in its address. See How to remove a previously Saved Password from my preferred web browser

USER E-POLICIES

• In accordance to the University’s password policy is it necessary to change your password every 90 days via https://www.sun.ac.za/password otherwise your e-access will automatically expire.  See Change your password online.
• Your SU username will only be valid until the end of March each year. You will have to reactivate your username via https://www.sun.ac.za/useradm prior to the cut-off date, otherwise your e-access will expire. See reactivate your username.
