How to clean your cookies/cache

Why do I need to clean the cookies/cache on my preferred web browser?

All web browsers retain the history of your past searches or internet usage. This often affects Off-Campus Access to electronic resources that Stellenbosch University Library subscribes to.

You should on a regular basis clean your history so that broken links are not remembered.

You must do the following steps:

  1. See how to clear the Data Cache: https://balsamiq.com/support/faqs/clearcache/
  2. Select the following options for clearing: Browsing history, Download history, Cookies and other site data, Cached images and files.
