Documentation Centre for Music (DOMUS): Collections Online presentations

Anton Goosen Jors Troelie Liedjieboer

In 2012, pioneering Afrikaans popular musician Anton Goosen donated his collection of scrapbooks, sheet music, notes and correspondence to Stellenbosch University. These materials are currently located in the Music Library: Documentation Centre for Music (DOMUS). The presentation below features some of these documents donated by Goosen.

Nico Carstens - Accordionist and songwriter

In 2012, South African accordion legend Nico Carstens donated his collection of documents and sound recordings (78s, DVDs, LPs and CDs) to Stellenbosch University. These materials are located in the Music Library: Documentation Centre for Music (DOMUS).

This presentation makes use of materials from the Nico Carstens collection at DOMUS. In this respect, we would like to thank the Carstens family for the permission to reproduce and use the materials for this presentation. Textual information is derived from:  Louw, S.H.R. 2013.
