In 2012, pioneering Afrikaans popular musician Anton Goosen donated his collection of scrapbooks, sheet music, notes and correspondence to Stellenbosch University. These materials are currently located in the Music Library: Documentation Centre for Music (DOMUS). The presentation below features some of these documents donated by Goosen.

In 2012, South African accordion legend Nico Carstens donated his collection of documents and sound recordings (78s, DVDs, LPs and CDs) to Stellenbosch University. These materials are located in the Music Library: Documentation Centre for Music (DOMUS).
