As is the case with all course material on Moodle that require copyright clearance or reporting to the CHEC PLO, instructors should obtain clearance before they digitise content, upload files via citation or before the Library can digitise a chapter of a physical book or an article in the libraries. If unsure whether clearance is required, please double-check with the INNOVUS office first before publishing your list to your students.
There is currently no integration between the CHEC PLO website and the Reading List tool. Therefore copyright clearance must be obtained separately.
Facilitators should use the guidelines outlined below to make decisions on using copyrighted materials.

Once copyright clearance has been obtained, see here for instructions on how use the Visibility (restrictions) section on a citation to limit the From and To dates for citation/materials' visibility on a reading list to the period for which clearance has been obtained.
